C++ Qt Engineer Remote Contract
We are looking for an Engineer to work remotely (from home) on a full-time basis - Our company has a focus on defending against cyber crimes by leveraging our systems management and security optimization solutions. Our solution allows our users to have instant visibility and control over all their endpoints and increase in response time.
This will be a long term 6+ month contract to start with a good chance of conversion to full time and/or contract extension. What You Will Be Doing- C++ coding
- Participate in code reviews
- Participate in object oriented design
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Discover and fix programming bugs
- General maintenance of existing code and environment
- 3+ years Object-oriented C++ development experience
- Experience developing multi-threaded, multi-process systems
- Experience with Agile development processes (SCRUM)
- 3+ years experience developing cross-platform systems for Windows and Linux
- Qt development
- SQLite
- Experience with encryption for communications and data-at-rest.
- Experience with network communications down to socket level
- Git, Jira, Visual Studio, Gcc/G++
