We are looking for an enthusiastic Airport Engineer and Project Manager to join our Airport Planning and Design team! We have an opening for a Professional Engineer. You can work remote and be located in MN, WI, or VA!

As a Graduate Engineer on our team, you will:


  • Detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities

  • Project plan sheet drafting and design

  • Preparation of construction documents, including plans and specifications

  • Project estimation and budgeting

  • Construction observation and field engineering during various construction projects

  • Assist Professional Engineers/Project Managers in project scoping, task hour budgets, schedules, fee proposals and federal and state grant application and management

  • Managing own work activities and project team responsibilities, and providing status updates for assigned projects

  • Developing an understanding of the latest airport design standards and procedures

  • Work effectively in an empowered team environment with individual responsibility


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

  • Zero (0) to Four (4) plus years’ experience working in civil engineering or related field

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and CAD design

  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc. Overnight travel may be required


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Previous airport planning, design and construction experience

  • Project management skills

  • Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain within a year

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and CAD design

  • Flexible hours and competitive pay
