Location: San Antonio, TX [REMOTE]
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Total Hours/week: 40.00

Client: Medical Device Company
Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
No H1B's
Work Hours M-F 8-5 local CST time, may need to flex for other time zones depending on vendor.

Job Description
Client's Americas HR Service Center is in the process of kicking off key initiatives to support the business needs and requirements. The projects are focused on saving BD money, offering flexibility to associates and simplification and harmonization with time solutions. Projects that are currently being prioritized are Early Wage Access (Pay on Demand), WOTC (Work Opportunity Tax Credits), Scheduling Tools, Attendance Harmonization and Tracking, and others.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful oversight, management, and delivery of key projects working closely with our internal operation teams, COE's, and external vendors. This role will serve as the key contact for the projects responsible for workplans, task completion, coordination across all groups for the full lifecycle of the projects (planning, development, implementation, and hyper care). There will also be focus on Organization Change Management and Communications that will need
to be managed for the projects to be successful.
This Project Manager position will report to the Associate Director of Operational Excellence within the Americas Service Center and will be working on projects sponsored by the Senor Director of the Americas Service Center.
Job Responsibilities
Engagement
To be the central point of contact for the Projects at a day-to-day project level and responsible for the articulation of the project strategy and framework to teams that will be working on the project
Responsible for documenting the agreed business requirements (at a high-level) as a means of initiating new requests and finalize the detail business requirements and communicate them to the vendor delivering the solution
Coordinate with all teams (ASC Operations, COE's, IT&S Partners, HRIS team and Vendors)
Communicate timeline and priorities to all parties involved in the project.
Deployment Activities
Develop project charter in alignment with sponsor and stakeholder objectives, enterprise and HR priorities and goal, ensure acceptance of charter by steering committee/sponsor(s)
Establish project governance framework and lifecycle in accordance with HR PMO best practices including status reporting to all stakeholders. Successfully scale and tailor project delivery approach to meet the needs of the specific project, considering budget, complexity, schedule, and risk factors
Develop project plan and resource needs, resource load plan, and work with stakeholders to assign/obtain needed resources for project success.
Conduct stakeholder analysis, business impact analysis, and plan engagement, communications, and training activities to ensure effective communication and adoption throughout the project lifecycle
Identify, manage, and escalate issues and risks to the HR Program Management Office and Sponsors/Stakeholders and assist with closure and/or mitigation
Lead resources assigned through various project lifecycle phases, build team morale, ensure various resources understand their roles and responsibilities and assist with knowledge transfer as needed
Work with business subject matter experts/process owners and other key stakeholders to
review and sign-off deliverables
Ensure knowledge transfer of system design and configuration to ongoing production support staff and adequacy of post-go-live support plan and resources
Execute close out project activities including documenting and communicating lessons learned, updates to project plans and templates, and archiving of project records and deliverables.
Performs Other Project Management Duties As Assigned And Required
Partner with the business to document complete and robust business requirements and
articulate them to TGS (IT&S) and the Vendor
Approve final designs/solutions and develop/execute test scenarios to validate the delivered build product
Responsible for assisting in deployment integrity when deploying solutions, to ensure that
developed outsourced solutions meet the functional needs of the business and map to the
overall design landscape and all requirements
Serve as the key integrator between the vendors and the BD Operations and project team on functional and technical questions/issues/integrations
Supply on-going communication to the business and the vendors
Essential Education, Experience And Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration,
Human Resources or related field OR equivalent experience and certification
Three to Five (3-5) years proven ability to deliver HR Operations and Systems projects with a focus on Payroll and Time
5 years or more experience in HR, Time and Payroll systems with preferential emphasis on ADP GlobalView / SAP Payroll, Kronos, eTime, Workday or similar ERP solutions
Demonstrated ability to indirectly lead teams consisting of dedicated and non-dedicated IT, users, and vendor resources, from diverse backgrounds and locales
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage risks and issues to resolution
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, remaining agile and flexible in a challenging environment and managing multiple competing priorities.
Possesses excellent demonstrated customer interaction, collaboration, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills
Command of various project management methodologies and tools including integrated change management strategies and tools
Proven success in managing Deployment Projects in multiple countries with multiple vendors
Proven experience in managing small to large and complex level projects with multiple work streams running concurrently
Functional expertise in HR, Payroll and Time
Knowledge of batch file technology and interface processing a plus
Experience in working with Vendors and file transmissions to support the outsourced process
Proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Sharepoint and Visio required
Expert MS Project proficiency
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate and Lean Six Sigma certified preferred
