CPA Firm - Remote Senior Tax Accountant
Position Summary:
Our firm is hiring two or more experienced tax accountants to join our incredible team.
Located in Atlanta (Perimeter area), we have a skilled and friendly staff who specialize in servicing our business and individual clients with their tax compliance, tax planning and general business consulting needs. So, if you are ready to jump from your existing firm (commute, lack of firm growth, atmosphere), we want to talk to you! CPA FIRM EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
REMOTE WORK - Our firm is fully setup to work remotely with web based software that can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection. While most employees are in the Atlanta area, we also have employees in multiple states who seamlessly blend with our culture and scheduling. We meet weekly via Teams and encourage staff to meet with each other regularly to answer questions as they arise.
The candidates we seek will be preparing corporate and individual tax returns. A solid background in income tax preparation of Forms 1040, 1120/1120S and 1065 is preferred. In addition, this person will work directly with our clients, establish relationships and prepare their tax returns. QuickBooks experience is a plus. UltraTax/GoFileRoom experience is a plus.
We believe in a work-life balance and enjoy 6-8 Fridays off in the summer to refresh after tax season.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required and Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
- Current CPA, EA or CPA Candidate preferred
