- Develop conceptual designs for projects based on customer and internal inputs and requirements in Solidworks
- Develop final designs for projects from input gathered during review(s) of concepts
- Generate required documentation (prints, bills of materials, etc.) for the project and release to manufacturing/purchasing
- Update and prepare final documentation for the project to be submitted to the end customer
- Identify, prioritize, and implement automation recommendations to improve existing processes
- 5+ years' experience with the design of industrial machine tools and/or automation including robotic work cells
- Proficient in Solidworks 3D parametric solids modeling utilizing top-down assemblies and Solidworks PDM Professional
- Tool and die or machining experience and/or knowledge base
