Production & Assembly Senior Representative
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Installs parts according to the build instructions and troubleshoots systems including the reseating of essential components, and notifies repair team when/if the system fails, performs test to ensure part installed and function properly per customer’s system specification
- Recognizes, identifies and loads parts and chassis for the system into the tote Identifies the availability of components for the computer
- Transfers required parts to the parts tote, exchanges wrong parts, retrieves missing part or returns extra part to kitting line
- Scans track code on box to determine if system is a custom configuration and labels it appropriately, recognizes, identifies and checks system to ensure all documentation and accessories are in system box in case this is applicable to the local operating procedures
- Performs relevant scanning and de-stacks systems and plugs system in for software download and burn
- Removes the completed systems out of burn to the boxing line In case of product returns, performs basic tests on all returned factory sealed products, and determines if defective systems are repairable or will need to be sent to teardown
- Lifts and places system in the final packaging utilizing the vacu-hoist, performs final inspection, applies labels and verifies for damages
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Incorporates experience and knowledge to perform task and ensure system specifications are met
- Proficient in all areas of the build and production processes
- Participates in process improvement activities or projects
- Requires reading travelers and/or performing in the Traveler Pull function, accessing computers and using kitting control application to identify part numbers
- Determines if defective systems are repairable or will need to be sent to teardown
- May coach less experienced team members
Essential Requirements
- Understanding of overall build and production processes
- Capability to read and interpret online work instructions and additional written communication
- Ability to recognize, identify and load parts and chassis for the computer system
- Troubleshooting skills
Desirable Requirements
- 1 year of related experience
