The Administrative Assistant, Office of the Founder reports to the Chief of Staff to the Founder to support the overall success of the Founder of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in the country. The successful candidate will embody the core values and commitments of Raising Cane’s and project those values onto all work projects and interactions with others. In addition to executing the personal errands required of an assistant, the job description also involves extensive research, scheduling and coordination duties, systems planning and implementation, record keeping and inventory management, and expenses management. 

 

This is a fast-paced job, and the candidate must be able to work smart, be able to think critically, prioritize, multi-task to efficiently complete simple tasks while supporting the needs of the Founder. The ideal candidate will have strong references and a proven track record in administrative assistant position.

Personal Requests

  • Personal research and shopping
  • Personal errands
  • Misc. research on artifacts, memorabilia, etc. and collection inventory management
  • Ordering lunch as requested

Administrative Support

  • Maintain complex calendar both personal and business in nature
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff to the Founder with departmental initiatives and additional administrative tasks
  • Facilitate team communications including meeting notes and team updates as required
  • Process invoices, expense report processing and budget reporting for Office of Founder
  • Maintain detailed records for Founder accounting activities
  • Maintain organized digital and paper filing system
  • Implement systems to create efficiencies in the Office of the Founder
  • Facilitate business documents execution, schedule notaries
  • Prepare for in office meetings and office guests

Additional Responsibilities

  • Represent Raising Canes at events as necessary
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally
  • Coordinate ticket purchasing, allocation, distribution, and tracking
  • Coordinate catering orders, driver scheduling, fulfilling riders, etc.
  • schedule may vary and could include tasks or work that needs to be completed at various times throughout the day, in the evening and potentially on the weekends from time to time.
  • Respond to emails/text outside of business hours
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative support role preferred
  • Relevant, professional experience with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Relevant, professional experience with budgeting, expense reporting, and financial record keeping
  • Eligibility to lawfully work in the U.S. is required
