Dispatcher Assistant

The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.

A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based fabrication and design company is currently seeking a Dispatcher Assistant

• This candidate is a leader and is looked upon to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the different projects that come through the Logistics Department.

The dispatcher assistant will assist the dispatcher with trucking needs, track the logistics outbound in collaboration with Logistic Leads Monitoring and lead drivers while not on runs with shop tasks, loads and offloads as well as assist with trucking maintenance.

The dispatcher assistant will have 1-2 years of experience in logistics, 1 year of experience driving a box truck, knowledge of truck maintenance, and experience with Asana or a comparable project management platform.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
