  • FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Senior Database Developer within our TA Connections division.
  • This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will This hands-on role involves technical design, development and delivery of software applications.
  • The right candidate will be able to understand architectural requirements and recommend optimizations across environments.
  • You will report directly to VP of Software Engineering and regularly collaborate with the team.
  • The salary range/hourly rate for this position is $115,000-$125,000.
  • As a Senior Database Developer you will be expected to work in a virtual environment.
  • Assigned workspace in a home office set up
  • Monthly home internet stipend
  • Design, development, and delivery of database driven software applications
  • Work with business analysts, system architects, QA Analysts, and business owners to ensure software applications meet the business requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve software application defects
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands on database development experience, using stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views on an enterprise level RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
  • Solid understanding of database design
  • Proficient in creating and tuning complex SQL
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent conceptual thinker as the database is very abstract
  • Has aptitude for problem solving at an in-depth level
  • Can understand work-processes and data integration issues
  • The ability to work within a team environment or autonomously as required
  • Strong communication skills (English as dominate language preferred)
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of responsibility
