We are looking for a skilled Lead Software Engineer to work remotely to help with full life cycle development from initial concept through architecture and development. This person will need to be well-versed with backend, server-side programming and have experience designing and improving web applications. We are looking for someone that has a vision and is able to execute and provide solutions efficiently. Most importantly this person will have a true passion for technology and highly value a collaborative environment. In this role, you will also be leading and mentoring a small, remote team, so having experience in leadership is a huge plus.
What You Need for this Position8+ years of software development experience including experience in the following:
- Experience with a server-side programming language, preferably Golang, Node.js or Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Proficient in data modeling within SQL and MySQL
- Experience building microservices and API integration and design
- Cloud experience with AWS serverless
- Understanding of network protocols and components
Nice to have:
- Experience with Data Science and Machine Learning
- Leadership experience leading and mentoring small teams
