Summary
This position functions as the primary administrative liaison to assigned practices. Practices are generally assigned to Directors according to specialty/service. The Director of Practice Management is the principle staff person to the Chief(s) of Service associated with their practices.
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Finger Lakes Medical Associates- Geneva
DEPARTMENT: Primary Care Institute
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
ATTRIBUTES
LEADERSHIP. Oversees the implementation of new practices and relocation of existing practices. Provides leadership and supervision to practice management staff. This functions concerns itself with the timely monitoring and responsive improvement of systems impacting the daily operations of assigned practices and the accomplishments of short range and long range goals including: Development and implementation of policy and procedures; Implementation of service quality/cost improvement initiatives; Development and implementation of communication and promotional strategies; Implementation and maintenance of automated and manual systems.
COORDINATION. Coordinates agendas, presentations and minutes for standing Practice Leadership Team Meetings for assigned practices.
PARTNERSHIP. Functions as staff support to appropriate Chief(s) of Service with respect to planning, operations, patient care and financial aspects of assigned practices. Interfaces with support services peripheral to practices including but not limited to Purchasing, Property Management, Information Systems, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Managed Care and Patient Accounting.
BUDGET & COMPLIANCE. Reviews and approves accounts payable and purchase requisitions as required by policy. Ensures compliance to DOH and JCAHO regulations.

S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
