CNC Machinist/Programmer

Midwest Machine is a small family owned company that has been in business for over 50 years. We provide high quality parts for automotive, agriculture and oil industries. We are a climate controlled shop located in Independence, MO.

We are searching for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer looking for a challenging and rewarding career. Benefits include paid holidays, paid vacation, medical, dental, vision and IRA.

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

• High school diploma
• 5 years minimum of SET-UP & CNC machining experience
• Must be able to read & Write CNC programs (G-Code & M-Code)
• Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and understand tolerance
• Demonstrated ability to read calipers, micrometers
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Experience in dual spindle and live tooling is preferred but not required

Job Type : Full time

Pay: $28.00-$30.00
