CTG is looking for individuals who are interested in being part of a team responsible for building a modern Infrastructure Technology practice. TheTechnical Architectwill be responsible for delivery of Infrastructure and Cloud solutions. Contributes to the delivery high-quality outcomes within Infrastructure Solutions as the lead resource on multiple projects. Develops intellectual capital that aligns with market opportunity and CTG growth strategies. Provides best practices through personal delivery of complex project tasks for CTG clients. Remains engaged in client engagements aligned with their designated solution in an oversight and quality control capacity.
Responsibilities:
Deliver low level architecture that supports the high-level solution in the Statement of work.
Provide subject matter expertise and support to delivery resources
Bring CTG’s experience including other pertinent solutions to the delivery of solutions.
Work with the Solutions Architects to ensure solution to delivery continuity
Support solutions of Project and Managed Services in IT Infrastructure
Build contacts with peers and the external market (e.g. membership with an external IT user group) to share experiences and enhance the CTG brand
Collaborate with other CTG technical architects to share experiences, up-sell opportunities and involve them as needed on customer proposals and delivery
Support talent management in recruiting, managing and retention of the right resources necessary for successful delivery
Review the design standards and solution functionality from a technical point of view
Contribute to overall solution pipeline growth through field identified opportunities
Provide feedback to the solutions team around lessons learned in delivery to inform future solutions.
Ensure compliance to established framework, standards and oversight methods
Create the appropriate training material and plans with our Discipline Leads
Learn solutions offerings outside of solution aligned to
Provide thought- leadership through white papers, conference presentations and speaker engagements
Continued enhancement of offering keeping up with market trends and demand
Perform other duties as required to fulfill responsibilities
Required Skills:
7+ years of experience working in Information Technology Infrastructure, with 3+ years of experience working in Cloud-related technologies
Infrastructure Architect Experience in the following Areas (5+ Years)
Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS)
Data Center Operations (Windows/Unix Server)
Networking
End User Device Management
Microsoft 365
Experience Leading teams of technical resources (1 – 3 Years)
Experience in IT business development, and interaction with client stakeholders
Competence in profitably leading large, concurrent consulting engagements
Strong verbal and written skills
Certifications & Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or Information Technology (or 5+ Years Relevant experience)
