Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a remote position. This is a full-time role based anywhere in the US. The role will ask you to work the hours of 9-5 pm either in the Central Time Zone or the Pacific Time Zone (some flexibility). You have the option of working from our San Francisco headquarters, Austin, TX or New York, but most of your coworkers will be remote for now.
Responsibilities
Build software features which enable our healthcare providers and clinical teams to deliver first-class healthcare to our patients
Work with a team of engineers to build a feature set that allows us to perform Population Health Management tasks to support our clinical teams in delivering care at scale to ensure our patients are getting the best possible healthcare quality.
Features will range across a variety of functionality – creating new UI and workflows for our healthcare providers, bringing data buried in behind-the-scenes pipelines forward to care team members, automating tasks to unburden our healthcare providers, and integrating with 3rd-party software as needed.
Requirements
4+ years of engineering experience
Proficiency in a full stack environment (for example: Ruby/Rails, Django/Python, or Node)
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc)
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with partners across the organization
Ability to partner with product management and engineers to define and align teams around both simple and complex projects and architectural solutions which balance short and long-term needs
Nice-to-have skills and Experiences
ElasticSearch in production at scale.
Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technology.
Microservices architecture.
Planning and managing large 3rd-party integration projects
Working with healthcare data or similarly complex domain modeling
AWS, Rails, and/or Angular
