Analyst consultant

Primary Responsibilities :

• Analyze, review, and trend complex data


• Review the analysis and interpretation of others work


• Oversee ad-hoc client and operational reports developed and presented by others


• Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning


• Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis


• Develop and implement effective / strategic solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years of general business experience (business, finance, etc..)


• 3+ years of related professional experience in a reporting and analytic role including the design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of reporting / visualization tools and database queries


• Experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client / business


• Experience with data analysis with the ability to problem solve, research conflicting and / or inaccurate data, and creating formal documentation of findings


• Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes


• Clinical reporting experience


• Experience with relational databases, database structures, or SQL


• Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and automated database management systems


• Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables and VBA)


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a comfort level performing formal presentations to executive leadership


• Experience serving as a consultant to stakeholders


• Located in the state of Texas

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Healthcare Administration


• 2+ years of intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL data analysis and / or other development and statistical tools
