Software Engineer

Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a self-starter Software Engineer to join the Consolidated Analysis Orchestration Services (CAOS) development team in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate has full lifecycle development experience, an expert developer with knowledge of systems engineering standards and processes, and demonstrated industry experience. Assigned tasks are technically challenging, achievable, time-boxed and under the direction of technical leadership. Duties include analyzing, developing, debugging, testing, configuring, and deploying software solutions in an agile, cloud based, and continuous development environment. Most of the work is done in the Java programming languages and using RESTful and/or SOAP Web Services. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross-functional team environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Current Clearance: TS//SCI
• Bachelor’s Degree and 9-13 years of relevant experience. (Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
