INNCOM, a division of Honeywell International needs a Sr. Field Service Training Technician. As a Sr. Field Service Training Technician, you will organize and manage the training of end users and integrators, so they fully understand the INNCOM systems. You will work with various resources such as project coordinators, application engineers/programmers, subcontractors, and project checkout teams. Projects are fast-paced and are managed remotely for various National Account customers in North America. Ability to lift, carry or pull 50lbs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver great customer experience with INNCOM offerings.
* Monitoring execution of all training content and deliverables.
* Working with both internal and external resources and making sure the end users and integrators have the necessary skill sets to work with INNCOM systems.
* Establishing the project training overall critical path and ensuring that all training phases adhere to the agreed-upon timeline.
* Assisting the project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues related to training delivery.
* Communicating with stakeholders, team members, and other project managers on project status, including progress, risk, and any issues that may have an impact on project training.
* Managing customer expectations and proactively closing training expectation gaps.
* Taking ownership of processing and obtaining training signoffs for all site visits.
* Prioritizing issues for resolution, hold, or escalation to team members as necessary.
* Ensures that system installation and system performance meet the customer's expectations as well as INNCOM's high-quality standards.
* Reviews all point-to-point wiring diagrams, the scope of work definition, written sequences of operation, and applications programming and development to deliver training for end users on customer locations.
* Creates and maintains training timelines and milestones. Routinely communicates with all project-related parties.
* Oversees that on-site training is conducted promptly and thoroughly.
* Ability to work while sitting or standing for long periods, while performing work in an office or on a job site.
* Measures and approves all project financial milestones.
* 35% to 50% travel is required.
* Thorough knowledge of Direct Digital Controls (D.D.C.) technology, personal computer systems, and software is required.
YOU MUST HAVE
* High school diploma, or equivalent.
* 2+ years of project field or technical experience.
* Good written and oral communication. You will be instructing and working with a multitude of people and will need to effectively present to various stakeholders.
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
WE VALUE
* 2+ years of the building automation industry, or multiple years of experience in the retail construction field.
* Previous industry experience.
* Previous customer service experience.
* Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.
* Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certificate.
* Demonstrated capability in problem resolution and project planning.
* SAP knowledge is a plus.
* Previous experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools.
* 2+ years of training experience.
