Associate Director Forecasting - Biopharma - Remote or Hybrid
Company Overview:
Meet is partnering with a rapid growing global biopharmaceutical company. They are focused in exclusively in the rare disease space with an impressive pipeline and drugs across all stages of development. They are looking to add a member to the Commercial Effectiveness Team to help lead as the Associate Director of Forecasting. This person will have prior experience in pharma/biotech or healthcare consulting.
Job Overview:
The main responsibility of this role is to execute forecasting projects to shape pipeline commercial strategy. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders to prepare for launch of pipeline products. Additionally, you will be working closely with the brand team members and analytics teams to execute research plans to address business questions and inform brand strategy.
- Integration of secondary data analyses and primary research insights to support landscape assessment, go to market strategies, and portfolio planning
- Consult on pipeline products to cross-functional teams from a commercial business insights perspective
- Develop forecasting models in Excel
- Maintain standardized forecasts on global level for multiple indications
- Support forecast assumption in the US by conducting comprehensive secondary data analysis
- Manage the competitive intelligence collation activities across multiple products and indications
Skills Required:
- MUST have 5+ years of experience in commercial demand forecasting in pharma/biotech or healthcare consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline MBA Preferred
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience working with pharmaceutical data
- High proficiency in SAS or MS-SQL or similar programming software
- New launch and commercialization experience
