Overview:
Emerald is seeking a Graphic Designer / Interactive Designer to support our Retail TouchPoints Media Division.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality creative projects for all supported brands. This role will create a strategic design direction for the brand and portfolio teams and encompases design for brand identity, event graphics, products, digital/video design, and UX application experience from conceptualization through implementation and final deliverables.
A portfolio must be submitted with your application.
This role can be based remotely or in any Emerald office within the US

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $56,000-$60,000
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position, and may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Create websites/landing pages, logos, print and digital ads and other materials consistent with brand guidelines
Create user experience design requirements and UI/UX design strategy for the brands
Design and test UI elements and tools such as page layouts/designs, CTAs, banners, navigation, etc. that will delight users
Serve a specialist in their media
Project/vendor management
Contribute to and take ownership of design strategies
Take an active role in project planning
Design across teams, brands, and departments
Work closely with our marketing team to ensure seamless web/mobile design experience
Qualifications:
Strong portfolio in graphic design with experience in interactive/web design projects, with a preference for design experience in the retail industry
Demonstrated ability to utilize an understanding of marketing, production, web design, corporate branding, advertisements and multimedia design, as well as an awareness of competitors and market trends, to deliver a finished product with fine attention to detail and minimal rework
Applied experience with core design tools including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
UX designer or developer experience (WordPress, Elementor, DIVI, etc)
Experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects, and achieving goals on time and within budget
Strong track record leveraging collaborative leadership in a matrixed organization to get things done, with a respectful and professional attitude
Strong visual composition skills with the ability to adjust design execution and strategy to meet evolving brand needs
A "team succcess" mindset with the willignness and desire to support other design teammates in improving their design, communication, and strategy skills
Experience with latest digital trends, technologies and methodologies in web design, social media, digital design and video production
Able to excel under tight deadlines and can handle multiple projects at onc
