YOUR ROLE

  • We are open to fully remote/hybrid work locations for this position.

  • The Planning Innovation Manager is a key member of the CoE Innovation team focused on successful implementation of initiatives to build Supply Chain Planning maturity.
  • Will be responsible for project management from ideation and pilot through rollout and closure; providing ongoing support as needed.
  • A key activity will be to provide forward-looking visibility of Supply Chain trends, concepts, methods, and tools to build and maintain leading-edge capabilities within the region.
  • Pilot, scale-up, and support with training all new Supply Chain Planning innovations according to the regional strategic roadmap.
  • Lead the financial impact calculation for select Supply Chain Planning innovation efforts.
  • Manage interdisciplinary interfaces with other Innovation Managers.

  • Act as single point of contact for Supply Chain Planning in globally steered innovation projects.
  • Act as project manager and ensure successful completion of Supply Chain Planning innovation projects.
  • Provide Supply Chain technical guidance to project teams.
  • Develop standardized tools and training materials with interregional teams for steering of globally harmonized roles and processes.
  • Support other Supply Chain Innovation Managers in times of peak activity.
  • Support the regional business team through process reviews and provide recommendations and training to further standardize processes within the region.
  • Stay “plugged in” to external trends and contribute to an innovation pipeline.
  • Support Supply Chain teams and production / distribution sites within the region reviewing process flows and making process improvement recommendations according to standard processes.
  • Provide support within the region for all Supply Chain Planning topics.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or similar technical subject. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain function with direct exposure to procurement, inventory planning, and production scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems is required. SAP experience is a plus.
  • ASCM certification and knowledge of ASCM standards is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain integration. -Project Management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence diverse groups and work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
