Quick Overview:

Title: Senior Software Engineer Consultant

Location: REMOTE - 6 month contract

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-5 EST

Summary:
You are an experienced, self-organized, and motivated individual, familiar with all product development phases (planning, design, testing, implementation, deployment, and maintenance). A combination of software solutions development expertise, advanced technical skills and knowledge of various processes, tools, with excellent understanding of business, functional and non-functional, requirements give you the opportunity to contribute to the development of software-based solutions that are tailored to business specific needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new software features and functionalities in collaboration with the lead developer, solution architect, product owner, business analyst and architecture team, with a strong focus on creating and generating business value.
• Responsible for the development of high quality, scalable and maintainable systems using service oriented and modular architecture.
• Evaluate vendor solutions or components for functional fit, robustness, flexibility and technical risk
• Configure and troubleshoot the implementation of vendor solutions or components
• Identify and communicate technical risks, and propose mitigation actions
• Ensure compliance with relevant business and technical processes, methods and tools
• Available to work and collabo during business hours on the East Coast (EST/EDT time zone)

Minimum Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with demonst d Senior level accomplishments and expertise in a Software Engineer or equivalent role
• Ability to work independently (self-organized) in a challenging and complex business and technical environment
• Excellent knowledge of the agile mindset and ways of working, and practical use of the Scrum framework and Azure Cloud / DevOps environments
• Professional proficiency with the English language, both spoken and written
• Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills
