Maintenance Technician
Night Shift 6 pm – 6 am
Location: Wylie, TX
Pay Rate: $18 – $20 /hr.
A privately-owned aluminum extrusion company that has been in business for over 40 years is seeking a Maintenance Tech to assist with their busy operations. There has been a tremendous amount of growth over time, so they are looking to add to their team! We currently looking for an Entry Level Maintenance Tech for a Night Shift in Wylie, TX. This position requires you to work on heavy industrial machinery using your experience with motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, single-phase and three-phase electricity, conveyor systems, and production machines in a non-climate-controlled facility. This is a hands-on position that requires you to be out in the plant working on industrial machinery.
Maintenance Technician ’s Responsibilities:
Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications and troubleshoots malfunctions.
Maintenance Tech’s Requirements
Exposure/Interest in the areas of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical
Interest in developing skills in industrial maintenance, industrial technology, mechanical drawing, math, computer programming, electronics or another related field
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Should possess strong manual dexterity
Maintenance Technician’s Experience /Skills/Education:
Experience with motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, single-phase and three-phase electricity, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions a huge plus.
Experience working with industrial machinery in a plant setting.
Exposure in areas such as mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical •
Interest in developing skills in industrial maintenance, industrial technology, mechanical drawing, math, computer programming, electronics or another related field
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability and have strong manual dexterity
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility and must be open to working weekends. Pay is depending on experience.
