Job Description

About this role

  • Develop SQL queries to aggregate, analyze, and interpret business data for quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Experian Consumer Services (ECS) products and services
  • Implement solutions to achieve operational excellence in business service areas as a subject matter expert (SME)

  • Conduct daily control reviews of business metrics including KPIs, SLAs, and other performance thresholds

  • Support ad-hoc risk policy analysis and provide suggestions for strategy optimization
  • Act as a data steward to monitor and improve overall data quality; continuously review and validate data for accuracy

Qualifications

What your background looks like:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related field; advanced degree a plus
  • 2+ years working in call center operations or risk reduction analyst role
  • Experience profiling data, including data discovery, cleansing, and analysis

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL queries
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of fraud prevention industry tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Alteryx

  • Ability to prioritize and be a self-starter to provide deliverables within expected timeframe

  • Previous e-commerce fraud prevention, investigation or retail fraud prevention experience
