Job Summary:
The Solar Vegetation Manager is responsible for all aspects of our solar business. They will be responsible for acquiring new solar leads and securing solar projects.
They will oversee all solar vegetation installations and maintenance activities.

- Solar Technicians
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations and maintenance activities within established operating guidelines
- Plan, direct and coordinate operations by formulating policies, managing daily operational activities and planning use of materials and human resources toward maximum productivity
- Interface with clients ensuring satisfaction is achieved and continually maintained by the staff by establishing and maintaining open and consistent communication
- Prepares timely daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting in accordance with operational, safety, regulatory, and environmental performance requirements
- Ensures that on-site activities at each facility are conducted in a safety-conscious manner.
- Ensures jobs are completed profitably, on time, within budget, and done safely
- Mentors, trains, and supervises direct reports.
- Bid on relevant opportunities while adhering to deadlines
- Create and submit proposals in a timely fashion
- Facilitate transfer of information on sold projects to proper PRI personnel
- Completion of project tasks
- Project tasks include soil preparation, seeding, planting, erosion control, herbicide application, mowing, etc.
- Attend trade shows and conferences as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restoration and /or managing native plant communities
- Minimum 2 years managing team members
- Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred
- Valid Drivers's license and clean driving record
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to obtain MnDOT Health Card (PRI pays)
- Ability to be insured to drive company vehicles by PRI insurance company.
- Ability to obtain MN Dept of Ag pesticide Applicator License (PRI pays)
- Ability to operate a tractor and implements
- Ability to operate a UTV and spray equipment
- Ability to operate small power equipment (chainsaws, weed whips, hand augers, etc.)
- Comfortable handling herbicide.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and managerial skills necessary to motivate and manage field operations team
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. often
- Tolerance of working outside in adverse conditions
- Willingness to sometimes work long/unpredictable hours
