To support ICF's dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking an Environmental Sciences Technical Project Lead to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 130+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment. The Technical Project Lead will support federal agencies (such as U.S. EPA and NIEHS) in overseeing data management and database interoperability tasks to support systematic literature review. Location: Durham, NC, Reston, VA, or remote work. What you'll do... Provide data management oversight and technical direction to multiple tasks involving: Combining disparate systematic review datasets to support data integration, Generating visuals to support risk assessments, and Developing interoperability between data systems. Develop an approach to meet client's interoperability needs; oversee the execution and quality assurance for a team of ~ 4 developers, Manage the day-to-day work associated with projects, including staffing, scheduling, communicating, and providing technical guidance and quality assurance. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and communicate with clients regularly regarding project status, technical issues, deliverables, and follow-on work. Identify and implement process improvements to ensure efficiency and quality. Participate in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior- to mid-level staff. What you'll need: Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related health sciences subject. 3+ years of experience with project or task management. Experience integrating data from multiple disparate sources in an analytical context.
