Job Description

Safety, Health, Environment

• Develops, administers, and improves SHE programs for Wilmington and Field.
• Responsible for maintaining a SHE Made Simple Site for Wilmington including the annual deliverables of Risk Register, SHE Improvement Plan, and Management of SHE
• Responsible for SHE communication with related regulatory agencies and hosts SHE compliance audits and inspections.
• Ensures facility planning, permitting, construction, renovations, or expansions are implemented
• Provide training to all employees, consultants, and contractors on site-specific SHE topics.
• Create, manage, evaluate, and report on leading and lagging SHE indicators.
• Lead investigations and assist with the development of corrective and preventive measures for SHE incidents.
• Primary contact for SHE issues/emergencies
• Responsible for maintaining required records and permits for the site.
• Directs new initiatives and improvement programs aimed at ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, technical excellence and improving cost-effectiveness
• Manages the interface with relevant external regulatory bodies and maintain effective community liaison on all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment

• Manage onsite sustainability programs and awareness and ensure partners are informed with programs that are aligned with AZ sustainability goals
• Responsible for the AZ SHE System in Wilmington and Field, including following up in illness/injuries, risk assessments
• Responsible for relationship with field leadership to ensure SHE training and topics are cascaded through Commercial Field organization
• Responsible for management of SHE mailbox and accident reporting for Field
• Responsible for Health and Wellness initiatives for Wilmington and Field based employees

Site Services

• Responsible for oversight of the Wilmington food service program and contract including initiatives, enhancements, events, new technologies and cost savings while maintaining levels of service.
• Responsible for oversight of Wilmington onsite amenities such as the Fitness Centre, Wellness Centre, and other onsite Wellness Programs.
• Liaises closely with senior leaders to understand business priorities and align local delivery to support these objectives
• Defines resource requirements to deliver organizational objectives and enable successful execution of strategy
• Financially manages budgets for all areas of responsibility required for delivery of site services
• Builds capability within the site to deliver against objectives, mentoring and developing talent
• Responsible for the management of the executive services budget and programs

Essential

• Graduate calibre or with an equivalent level of experience
• Educated in relevant specialist field (site specific)
• Proven team leadership skills
• Independent and collaborate worker
• Developed commercial and analytical skills
• Project and change management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
