Overview:

Emerald is seeking a Product Manager to join our Elastic team. Elastic is a leading B2B eCommerce solution, serving the unique business needs of world-class manufacturers and retailers. As a member of the Product Team, you will manage existing products and take responsibility for driving emerging products. You will report directly to the Director of Product and will work cross-functionally with teams of engineers, designers, and researchers to continue to evolve our product suite while participating in the end-to-end product life cycle.


This position can be performed from any of our US-based offices or remotely from anywhere within the US.

Responsibilities:
  • Create business cases for new features and present senior management with the information necessary to make informed decisions

  • Consolidate feedback from internal, external, and executive stakeholders to break down high-level projects into JIRA epics and actionable JIRA user stories

  • Produce feature requirement artifacts, such as data flow and process flow diagrams to support the delivery team

  • Review epics and refine user stories with the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to support the development process

  • Maintain accurate and actionable JIRA user stories throughout the development life cycle

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog assuring that efforts align with expected timelines and the strategic product vision

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand ups, sprint demos, and retrospective

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team in coordinating new product release activities across the organization

  • Participate in events, focus groups, and seminars to gain relevant industry knowledge

  • Participate in build vs. buy evaluations; providing rational objective criteria to back decisions

  • Create, maintain, and present external product roadmap to internal stakeholders and clients

  • Communicate key product priorities to all levels of the organization

  • Identify and build relationships with key users to establish a regular cadence of feedback gathering and to support beta and A/B testing

  • Visit existing clients to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and define product features

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a key member of a Product team in B2B and/or eCommerce environment

  • Experience working on a SaaS-based product

  • Ability to work out product roadmaps of existing primary applications and release updates

  • Experienced in defining key features and making educated, actionable comments based on customer requests

  • Ability to manage requirements definition and product development while delivering key initiatives

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical, actionable tasks

  • Ability to incorporate data, research, and market analysis to enhance the product roadmap

  • Proven ability to manage and steer multiple concurrent projects

  • Experience with JIRA

  • Experience with flow-charting tools

  • Demonstrated ability to write and document technical information

  • Ability to communicate technical requirements

  • Experience practicing Agile development practices

  • Working knowledge of the wholesale selling process

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $100,000-$120,000

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
