Description:

This position will be part of the Security Platform Engineering team. The successful candidate will be involved in the architecture, design, development and maintenance of data protection solutions using Java and related technologies. This is a hands-on engineering role and may involve the following:
  • Designing and coding of cryptographic libraries and APIs using Java and related frameworks.
  • Maintaining internal and external facing documentation, and ensuring the documentation is regularly updated to reflect product updates.
  • Function as a leader of an agile team by leading planning sessions and contributing to software builds through consistent development practices.
  • Ability to perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Experience with and understanding of Agile practices.
  • Provide consultation and development support to internal application teams
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to success within the team.
  • Will require some work activities during non-business hours (evenings) to support deployments of new releases of software into production
  • Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation
  • Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology
  • 8 years of working with Java and Java Frameworks (Spring, SpringBoot)
  • Experience with building REST API's
  • Experience working with relational or NoSql databases
  • Experience analyzing and resolving performance issues, in a variety of operating environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with Cryptographic libraries
  • Experience working with Golang or Node.js
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present on technical topics, write technical white papers and user guides
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent assignments with strong attention to details
Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
