The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering and analytical services to Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and civil space customers. We help our customers develop requirements, program planning documents, specialized ananlytical studies, and support the demonstrations and experimentation of cutting-edge solutions to the toughest national security challenges. Our Space and Strategic Operations Group provides support to US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and NASA. Group employees support crititcal space and strategic deterrence programs across the United States and overseas.
SPA has an immediate need for a project manager with experience in construction management or civil engineering in Colorado Springs. The job entails coordinating and managing multiple design and construction efforts associated with USSPACECOM facilities and command and control facilities.
Responsibilities
The individual will create and manage project schedules involving the construction or modification of various facilities. You will coordinate with architect and engineering (A&E) firms, construction contractors, and multiple government stakeholders. You will particpate in regular project status meetings and prepare presentation materials for delivery to senior government officials.The individual must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic team environment, have exceptional communications and team-working skills; be able to look ahead and anticipate project schedule milestones and conflicts, anticipate cost impacts to schedule delays, and identify solutions to address schedule interruptiosn or delays. Work location is within the Colorado Springs area, encompassing projects across the city of Colorado Springs, Peterson Space Force Base, and Schriever Space Force Base.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software, plus other Microsoft Office applications (Power Point, Excel, Word).
- At least 10 years of experience in construction management and/or the design and construction of office buildings with secure Information Technology (IT) systems
- Proficient in creating and comfortable presenting project updates to senior government officials.
- At least a BS or BA degree in civil engineering, architecture, or other related field of study.
- US citizen with at least a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Experience with government construction contracting processes and organizations
- Knowledge of USSPACECOM organizations and mission partners
- Experience with integrating IT systems into classified government facilities
