Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future! Production Coordinator - Mauldin, SC Where the Chemistry Happens The Production Coordinator is a member of the operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts across units to support timely and effective execution of operational, maintenance and construction plans.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
* Your commitment to workplace safety will be essential in performing all activities in accordance with all BASF and OSHA safety policies/requirements including preparing equipment for construction / maintenance.
* Demonstrating your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will coordinate with the maintenance team in prioritizing and scheduling maintenance activities on production assets.

* Leveraging your proficiency in Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and preferably in SAP, you will document and track maintenance work notifications through completion and communicate status to stakeholders.
* Successfully engaging across the organization, you will coordinate with production, maintenance, project engineers / project managers and construction managers to successfully implement construction, project and maintenance work while optimizing production schedules.
* Leveraging your education and manufacturing experience, you will be one of the main contacts for evaluating non routine work in the production areas and issuing necessary work permits including confined space, line break, lockout tagout, hot work and safe work.
* Utilizing your manufacturing and P&ID knowledge you will create, review, and update Lock Out Tag Out checklists to successfully isolate energized equipment for maintenance.
* Managing time and multiple tasks effectively, you will schedule and coordinate non-maintenance operational services such as industrial cleaning and painting.
* As a proactive self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision, you will be tasked with other specific assignments, projects, and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or GED 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing enviroment.
