Mechanical Engineer

In this role you will...

• Create and revise documentation for filling equipment such as mechanical drawings, assemblies, P&ID, and equipment manuals.
• Prepare Bills of Materials for product release. Create and distribute engineering documentation for production, purchasing and outside vendors.
• Document assembly and component changes or non-conformances within final assembly and test.
• Improve existing equipment designs and develop new methods.
• Coordinate ProFill filler projects with customers, purchasing, manufacturing, and field service to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Who we are looking for?

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with SolidWorks, PDM, & AutoCAD
• Machine design, packaging, or food processing industry experience is a plus
• Design knowledge of machined and fabricated parts (shafts, bearings, drive components, mounting plates, spindles, structural weldments).
• Proactive, challenge-seeking personality with problem solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects and take personal accountability through completion of assignments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
