Mechanical Engineer
In this role you will...
- Create and revise documentation for filling equipment such as mechanical drawings, assemblies, P&ID, and equipment manuals.
- Prepare Bills of Materials for product release. Create and distribute engineering documentation for production, purchasing and outside vendors.
- Document assembly and component changes or non-conformances within final assembly and test.
- Improve existing equipment designs and develop new methods.
- Coordinate ProFill filler projects with customers, purchasing, manufacturing, and field service to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Who we are looking for?
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience with SolidWorks, PDM, & AutoCAD
- Machine design, packaging, or food processing industry experience is a plus
- Design knowledge of machined and fabricated parts (shafts, bearings, drive components, mounting plates, spindles, structural weldments).
- Proactive, challenge-seeking personality with problem solving skills
- Ability to take ownership of projects and take personal accountability through completion of assignments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
