Learn how Public Partnerships helps you manage the financial aspects of self-directed care. Responsibilities: Contacts various supervisors for any missed timesheet entries for terminating employees. Prepare biweekly payroll, including reviewing, importing, and entering hours for time-entry, and processing changes, including benefit deductions, tax changes, etc. Ensures that computing, withholding, or deductions associated with net pay is done properly. Process fiscal and year-end merit and bonus entries Oversees the distribution of paychecks or arranges direct deposit programs. Administers Quarterly Medical Reimbursement program; record quarterly payments for payroll and maintain tracking to ensure compliance with annual limit Generates monthly payroll reports from the HRIS and payroll databases; compile ad-hoc reports as required Organizes and reviews forms associated with federal, state, and local authorities, such as W-2s. Maintains payroll and related documentation for personnel files Responds timely to employment verifications Addresses and monitors all claims for unemployment benefits Provides input and assistance with various special projects (i.e. audit reports, EEO and annual Affirmative Action, annual census data, HRIS projects etc.) Qualifications: Supervisory background required Knowledge of payroll process, forms and practices preferred Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills Process improvement oriented Excellent spreadsheet skills required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of Corporate payroll processing experience working on a multi-state payroll 5+ years management experience in payroll and accounts payable operations or finance, preferably in an automated system environment.
