HOW AN **EDC / AXON PROGRAMMER** WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:


+ Works with technical teams and other business owners on standing up application metadata in terms of table and column description from various RDBMS and flat files sources and provide it in the EDC predefined template format


+ Works with the rest of the team and guide them on organizing the metadata gathered


+ Work with application teams to gather metadata. Apply organizational and management - theory and principles to understand and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency in achieving business goals


+ Work with all levels of the organization, from leadership and senior management to the workforce; interactions may include coaching, interviewing, workshop facilitation and training


+ Monitoring user activity, providing production support and general housekeeping are expected activity (but not limited to), of the person supporting the EDM toolset


**WHAT YOU’LL NEED:**


**Education:**


+ BA/BS or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree is preferred


**Required Experience:**


+ 10+ years of professional experience


**Security Clearance Level:**


+ Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance


+ US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)


+ The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.


**Required Skills and Abilities:**


+ Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in the following:


+ Ability to reach out to teams for cooperation. Interactions may include coaching, interviewing, workshop facilitation, articulating need to socialize data and enable cooperation to build application metadata from various sources


+ Strong command of language to help govern metadata definitions and organize consensus on definition and processes


+ Request appropriate data access from various source systems, submit change request, update project plan and perform job related tasks in support of primary duties


+ Operational knowledge of Linux, hands on experience in Unix shell scripting to track /automate the jobs using scripts


+ Ability to work with cross functional teams, perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues


**Desired Skill:**


+ Strong knowledge of SQL, Relational Database Management Systems like Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server


+ Knowledge of Informatica ETL preferred
