Job Description:

The Assistant Director will cultivate experiential learning opportunities for UT Dallas students and alumni, oversee academic internship processing for appropriate schools and assist the Career Education team with teaching internship courses where appropriate. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of the Career Center and leads a team of three.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field; Two years of work experience in a career center or similar environment, preferably within a university setting; knowledge of employment processes (i.e. recruiting/hiring, training, performance management, etc.). Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Experience in experiential educational programs and/or career services
  • An understanding of recruiting and hiring processes, EEO guidelines, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
