Human Resources Business Partner - Remote


Elite Line Services provides world class Maintenance Solutions under the umbrella of our parent company Daifuku, an international leader in the Manufacturing and Integration of Material Handling Equipment including conveyors, sorters, pickers and robotics.


We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to for all HR functions for their assigned sites in the greater Oklahoma, City metropolitan area.


This is a Remote role with frequent travel to 10+ sites in Oklahoma City, Tulsa & Kansas City. You must live in the greater Oklahoma City Metropolitan area currently to qualify for the role.


Duties include:

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Counsels managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Conduct sensing sessions with employees and management in order to improve morale and facilitate change management efforts.
  • Conduct periodic audits of employee resources to ensure accuracy.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Compliance with ELS safety program policies and procedures in contracts.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy.
  • Perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.


Basic Requirements:

  1. 4 year degree and 8+ years' experience in HR management.
  2. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  3. 5+ years' experience working in a multi-state environment.
  4. Ability to travel up to 25-35% within a region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  2. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  3. Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience.
  4. Experience with ADP and Kronos systems.
