Pay Range: $48,900 - $103,600 Bonus Potential: 7.5% Requisition #: 71002 The Role at a Glance: This position will work on the Life/LTC hybrid products within the Life Risk Management and Governance organization. The ADP participant in this role will drive insights, deliver thoughtful feedback, and execute on required deliverables related to Model Review and Profitability Reporting related to the Life/LTC hybrid products we offer. What you'll be doing: The ADP Program The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) at Lincoln Financial Group is an industry-leading program that demonstrates Lincoln Financial s commitment to creating highly qualified business leaders. As an ADP participant, you ll be able to explore your unique interests while developing the essential actuarial, technical, management, communication, and leadership skills you need to succeed. Program participants receive up to 175 hours of company time to study per exam sitting. Lincoln Financial Group purchases required exam materials and pays exam fees in advance for each program participant. Product Governance Attend Product Development workgroup meetings and Financial & Risk Reviews. Actively engage in the discussions with functional units within and outside of Insurance Solutions. Anticipate any changes or identify any new data requirements for profitability reporting. Provide feedback to pricing lead and Governance Leader by deadlines throughout the product development and implementation cycle. Feedback should include results of technical model review, comparison against other products in our portfolio, and insights from work with ERM and valuation actuaries. Model Review Identify when model coding in your Product purview is expected to take place this includes Product Development, Centralized Profit Models, and Valuation. Actively work w/ Model Owners to develop your Model Review Plan including dates and contingencies. Gain buy-in from Model Owner, Model Governance Leader, and any other appropriate parties (e.g. Valuation Actuary). Execute on Model Review Plan communicating status to stakeholders with regularity. Document both your own review as well as confirming the Model Owner s review. Provide feedback across models such that consistency is developed, or documentation of differences and why in absence of the consistency. Track and follow up on outstanding items. Quarterly Profitability Reporting Deliver results according to quarterly reporting deadlines with explanation of any changes to full year profitability projection (volume, assumption changes, model changes). Run models, review results, analyze and explain deviations of quarterly profitability from expected baseline and prior quarter. Identify any changes to be executed before subsequent quarter or identify any new data requirements. Complete and document follow up items as required before subsequent reporting quarter.
