Engagement Manager

Address critical strategic questions within the biopharmaceutical space for our clients

During the course of a typical project, an engagement manager will be involved in a number of activities, including:

• Develop project scope and objectives
• Communicate recommendations to clients to inform strategy and maximize value
• Provide thought partnership and support to the project team
• Conduct complex problem-solving through a hypothesis-based approach
• Complete primary and secondary research to drive to critical insights
• Create and utilize analytic tools (e.g., forecast models) to support key decision-making

Contribute to company culture and firm growth internally

In addition to project work, every engagement manager also contribute internally to the firm.

• Act as a “coach” to mentor and guide the professional development of multiple employees at the analyst through consultant level
• Contribute to an internal initiative aligned to firm culture and growth
• Conduct interviews with candidates for junior level positions

Requirements

The successful engagement manager candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in life sciences consulting
• 1 years in a project leadership role in a consulting environment
• In-depth and detailed understanding of the life sciences industry
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
• Highly analytic approach to solving complex problems
• Previous experience providing excellent client service in a consulting setting
• Professional and polished written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lead projects and mentor teams with limited support
