In this position, you will be responsible for the design, integrity and quality of an IS solution and of associated IS services delivered to Business, Support Functions and IS Technology Domains as the case may be; responsible for ensuring that the IS solution/service provides the required functionality and meets the cost expectations of business; collaborates with and contributes to project set-up and delivery as well as servicing Operations optimization. In this role you will also analyze, develop and maintain computer applications primarily written in Microsoft .NET, C#, VB and/or SQL, PowerBI.

Your responsibilities


  • Analyze software applications to determine if the applications are effectively meeting the needs of the specified end-user and/or to determine if enhancements can be made to increase the overall efficiency of the operational department.

  • Interact with business analyst to answer any questions regarding specifications and to establish a meeting with the project owner if warranted.

  • Develop software applications with regard to project specifications.

  • Interact with end-users on solving problems that occur with software applications including troubleshooting the problem.
  • Participate in daily Scrum/Agile status calls, maintain accurate burndown and backlog grooming.

  • Provide on-call support if necessary.

  • Stay abreast of industry changes with regard to software applications.

Your background


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or a computer related field OR equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of IS experience in defined technologies and within a relevant IS domain.
  • 1+ years of hands-on full stack development expertise utilizing Microsoft.NET, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API or Windows services.

  • Hands-on development expertise utilizing Microsoft Reporting platforms, including PowerBI or SSRS with SQL Server or Snowflake.

  • Experience implementing design patterns in Blazor, Angular, React or MVC.
