The Analyst, Associate and Consulting Associate


* Will be a part of an integrated team that executes and delivers across a wide variety of consulting projects through:

* Working closely with senior colleagues to deliver strategy and/or policy and economic consulting projects that address specific client needs

* Conducting independent research to identify, collect, manage and analyse data

* Contributing to internal discussions that build insights from the analytical process and integrating findings into broader project deliverables

* Conducting telephone or face-to-face interviews with clients or external stakeholders

* Assuming responsibility to generating sections of client reports, presentations and other client deliverables (e.g. excel Workbooks) whilst under the supervision of senior team members

* Proactively developing your knowledge of the life sciences industry as well as consulting methodologies


Qualifications

We are looking for curious, analytical, highly-motivated candidates who have focused study in biological sciences, economics (and related subjects including business, health economics and policy, public policy), physical sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline. We value knowledge of economic concepts, research experience, quantitative ability, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and a high level of initiative.  We expect successful candidates to use data to solve client problems, work collaboratively with a team, effectively manage their time and prioritize tasks, and take pride and ownership in their work.

Successful candidates will need to have a minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree from a top-tier academic institute. Applicants may also have a Masters or PHD degree and 1-2 years of work experience. Applicants will be assigned to Analyst, Associate and Consulting Associate roles depending on their level of educational and transferable experience.  All candidates must have the ability to meet the following criteria:


* Interest in the life sciences industry and healthcare

* General understanding of business processes

* Core analytical and problem solving skills

* Solid presentation, communication and influencing skills

* Understanding of how to use Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel plus an understanding of how to conduct research on the Internet -- experience with statistical software such as Stata and SAS helpful but not essential

* Excellent written and oral conversational and business English -- additional language skills helpful but not essential

* Eye for detail and self-motivated to deliver high quality work on time

* Some knowledge of essential consulting methodologies, tools and techniques ideal but not required

* CRA is proud of our ability to managing work/life balance. However, some travel is inevitable and successful candidates will have to show a willingness and ability to travel to client locations when required
