We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Educator LVN to join our team. As a Clinical Educator LVN, you will be responsible for providing educational support and training to our team of licensed vocational nurses. Your role will involve ensuring staff members are knowledgeable and competent in their clinical skills, while also promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Responsibilities
- Conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions for licensed vocational nurses (LVNs)
- Developing and implementing educational programs, policies, and procedures
- Collaborating with the nursing leadership team to identify staff training needs
- Assessing and evaluating staff competence in clinical skills
- Providing individual coaching and mentoring to LVNs as needed
- Keeping up-to-date with current nursing practices and industry trends
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and promoting a culture of excellence
Requirements
- Valid LVN license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LVN
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train and educate others
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in using educational technology and software
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends if needed
