CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE


WILMINGTON, NC




As a member of the Sales and Marketing team, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for supporting the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiating and/or implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Working closely with customers as a liaison, providing product/services information and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.



The Role:


Your work will include, but not be limited to:


  • Providing customers with product or service info, working to generate creative and effective solutions to fulfill their needs.

  • Maintaining a positive business relationship with internal and external customers.

  • Maintaining and managing the customer service processes within the assigned customer.
  • Providing and managing lead time quotations to customers.

  • Proactive problem solving with the customer’s and internal team members

  • Troubleshooting customer accounts ensuring order accuracy

  • Understanding and providing customer forecast to Planning/Materials for raw material ordering

  • Entering sales orders; review/create customer releases/order status
  • Expediting WIP through identified systems without procedural guidelines

  • Participating in planning meetings to review/communicate current order status, manage potential issues that may affect customer on time delivery.

  • Performing additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.



Your Qualifications:


  • Minimum of an associate degree preferred
  • 2 years customer service experience preferred; experience in manufacturing and/or textiles a plus

  • Experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment and having demonstrated a commitment to customer loyalty, advocacy, and engagement.

  • Experience with SAP is desired

  • High proficiency with all Microsoft based programs

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required

  • Ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment, ability to multi-task

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills required.

  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure

  • Ability to complete data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Must be a self-motivated individual; displays ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment.
