Job Summary:
This Entry Level Business Analyst role will work cross functionally to help manage, implement, and optimize use of software tools by all teams. This role will be involved in initiating marketing efforts by coordinating with multiple internal teams.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with questions and issues from internal users of software tools.
- Lead market/industry analysis to identify areas of opportunity for sales and new business.
- Manage social media channels to maximize impressions and customer engagement.
- Facilitate content creation for blog.
- Contribute to ideation and planning of new and modern methods of communication with
customers. - Develop reporting mechanisms to track effectiveness of marketing/communication efforts.
- Test new developments, features, or configuration changes in a sandbox environment before
deploying to production. - Create instructional documentation and videos to publish to a company-wide knowledge-base.
- Train users on best practices and standard workflows.
- Maintain and ensure proper documentation and coordinate or perform testing of system
modifications. - Support management by identifying educational opportunities (subjects and/or users).
- Investigate potential or known issues to find root causes and identify potential solutions.
- Identify and document areas of improvement in process or technology.
- Present issue resolutions or improvement plans to management.
- Research and stay current on technology and industry trends.
- Review internal system reports to find trends, issues, or opportunities.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with expertise in MS Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
- Ability to empathize with multiple perspectives.
- Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking.
- Familiarity with integration methods (ex. APIs and FTP transfers).
- Desire to learn about the service business.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field of study
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Experience writing SQL queries is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to travel as needed.
