Responsibilities:



  • You will work directly with Spire's Sr. Vice President of Global Sales and will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan and building/maintaining customer relationships that are essential for growing the Space Services business

  • Develop strategic and operating plans to substantially grow the business

  • Manage, hire and inspire a team of enterprise talent with top-tier sales experience located in several parts of the globe

  • Define, institutionalize, and track the business metrics and key performance indicators essential to building a predictable, profitable, and sustainable high growth Space Services business

  • Develop budgets and forecasts to accurately report and communicate results

  • Recruit, mentor and lead a team of top sales and BD professionals

  • Identify new opportunities and significantly grow the pipeline and lead capture of new customers

  • Implement scalable processes and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction

  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with product management, product and engineering and other support functions to devise the most practical solution for the customers.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an executive sales leader for enterprise applications and or infrastructure solutions

  • Experience working in the space/satellite industry is highly desirable

  • You have managed and grown a book of business from $50M to $100M

  • Experience in complex deals, contracting and an understanding of both commercial and government acquisition mechanisms

  • Ability to drive initiatives from start to finish, working both alone and within teams

  • 7-10 years building and managing commercial and non-US public sector sales and business development organizations and implementing multi-channel sales models that includes selling directly to the end-user and through technologies' partners as well as strategic resellers

  • Passion for improvising unique concepts to help the clients find suitable options in certain situations where financing or other challenges may exist

  • Excellent presentation skills
