You are responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing datasets, dimensional data models, reports, and dashboards to support enterprise reporting and analytical requirements. Primary Job Duties: – Includes but, is not limited to:

  • Execute roadmap of business focused BI initiatives with a clear understanding of all deliverables and associated deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.
  • Analyze and evaluate data requirements for business intelligence dashboards and reports and collaborate with IT teams to implement complex data integrations involving multiple tables across a single platform for business intelligence products.
  • Oversee data quality includes data validation, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data issues for the business intelligence team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and must possess exceptional ability to work well with individuals and teams at all levels, across all line of businesses.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to end users to facilitate change management efforts and to drive adoption of report and dashboard solutions. These activities often require cross functional collaboration and the coordination of activities such as user acceptance testing, production deployments, training, and post deployment support.
  • Oversee and manage critical property process improvement initiatives. Provide direction and oversight to project team to design and implement process efficiencies.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, related area, or three years of equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge SQL and data visualization tools, data warehouse, business intelligence reporting software, financial and gaming systems.
  • Working knowledge in data analysis, modeling, integration and deriving KPI (key performance indicators) metrics.
  • Ability to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
  • Working knowledge with project management and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • At least two years of analytical experience and database management working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
