The Specialist, Marketing, under the supervision of and accountable to the Director, Marketing, performs diversified duties to contribute to the Marketing team. The Specialist, Marketing collaborates daily with marketing colleagues and collaborates regularly with project teams, stakeholders and leaders across the department and organization, including business units, service lines and communications along with other key stakeholders in the organization.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a true passion for marketing while providing outstanding leadership and counsel to business unit and service line leaders to drive growth and brand equity. The Specialist, Marketing works under the supervision and is accountable to the Director, Marketing.

This position will be directly responsible for direct-to-consumer marketing for Primary Care, Urgent Care, Women & Children, MyWellSpan, Digital Front Door and top funnel strategies.

Ideal candidates will possess unmatched drive and enthusiasm for the mission of WellSpan. Looking for those with experience in marketing: consumer healthcare, health and wellness, pharmaceutical/device, or technology with a strong talent for strategic thinking. Experience using consumer & competitor insights, industry trends and other data to become a subject matter expert in the service lines aligned with this position is strongly suggested and preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures the quality and timely delivery of advertising support, tactical marketing, and growth marketing strategies

2. Provides creative concept development, project planning, execution and problem solving

3. Integrates appropriate brand, media, digital and direct-to-consumer marketing strategies

4. Develops and executes marketing strategies, plans and timelines for multiple and concurrent projects

5. Communicates project status and deliverables, obtains and applies deliverable feedback, anticipates client needs and identifies new opportunities

6. Collaborates with other teams, departments and vendors

7. Is responsible for the experience of working with the Marketing team and the overall quality of the Marketing team deliverables

8. Strong advertising, marketing and innovation skills

9. Strong marketing and brand strategy knowledge

10. Project planning skills

15. The willingness to think critically about the healthcare industry and the world of design

16. Able to both give and receive critique

17. An implicit understanding of the value of diversity and equity in all phases of creative work

18. Able to work quickly and iterate

19. Knowledge of the healthcare industry (services, finance, etc.) a significant plus

Qualifications:

Note: Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

Minimum Education: Four-year degree

Minimum Experience: 3+ years of Marketing experience

Brand Strategy knowledge

Project Mgmt Experience

Experience working with advertising agencies and paid media strategy

Experience with Digital Marketing/CRM Marketing preferred

Previous Healthcare Marketing experience required

Min Field Of Expertise: Applicable advertising and marketing experience in a Healthcare environment preferred.

Skills: Other Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills

Able to periodically travel
