What we are looking for
We are currently on the look out for a Design Engineer based in the US who is consistent, accurate and enjoys working with customers. In this cross functional role you will be liaising internally and externally delivering our world-class FRAMECAD Cold-Formed Steel design and detailing services as required. You will be also be working integrally with our US Sales Team by providing timely and accurate market intelligence and customer focused support. This role will be based in Las Vegas, however, could be remote for the right candidate and will be required to travel.
What you will bring
- 4 years of relevant experience in the industry
- USA CFS Design experience
- USA Design and Construction experience
- An understanding of construction design and engineering principles
- CAD experience
- Knowledge of Autodesk Suite including BIM360, Revit, and AutoCAD is preferred
- Ability to liaise at an executive level
- A strong ability to work under pressure and execute to deadlines
- Direct customer facing service experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not essential
What you will be doing
- Providing efficient service to customers (both internal and external) wanting detailing advice and training services
- Developing and maintaining CFS draughting, design and detailing skills to a level necessary to meet customer requirements in a timely and efficient manner
- Detailing consulting to FRAMECAD network projects, customer training requirements, and software user support.
- Proactively promote and deliver Software Training and Academy courses to assist FRAMECAD network software user’s upskilling and proficiency.
- Travel as required around the region and internationally to support FRAMECAD and the FRAMECAD network.
- Manage and monitor FRAMECADs care response process to meet FRAMECADs customer Design and Software service expectations in America.
- Providing market needs and customer feedback for FRAMECAD Design and Build System, Software and Product Development.
