PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the technical delivery of cloud services that span storage, networking and compute cloud capabilities, with a deep understanding of each service across the full IT cycle
Take end-user requests for new cloud applications and make recommendations on services to use for optimal performance and scale, as well as provision, ensure capacity, monitor and adjust as appropriate
Convert the technical requirements of a project into the architecture and design that will guide the final product
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture
Bridge the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud, while working with other members of the technology team, including DevOps engineers and developers, to ensure that the right technology or technologies are being built
Instruct customers on Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networking, Inter-site Connectivity, Monitoring, Data Protection, Network Traffic Management, Azure Active Directory, Security Identities, Governance & Compliance, and Data Services among others
Navigate across various customers with a trusted advisor/consultative approach and to establish credibility quickly with senior level executives across the customer organization
Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers
Required Skills and Experience
Clearance: Secret
Ability to maintain a minimum of a Secret level security clearance
This role is 100% remote
Ability to travel 25% (once permissible based on federal, state, and local guidelines)
Minimum 3 + years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or other technical skillsets
Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code
Experience in advanced scripting in Bash, JSON, Linux and Python
Experience working with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform, Ansible, or others
Able to demonstrate strong experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Subnet, Various NVA, Firewall
Experience using CI/CD tools for automation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3 + years of experience with customer facing interactions
3 + years of experience networking and working with large enterprise organizations as the first point of contact
Strong background of cloud services and security in either AWS and/or Azure
AZ-900 level Microsoft Azure certification (within 30 days of hire) and AZ-104 level Microsoft Azure certification (within 90 days of hire)
