Responsibilities
- Responsible for helping develop the global sales function by promoting a wide range of products and services through opportunity-based sales
- Achieve business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills
- Creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls and establishment of ongoing rapport with potential customers and channel partners
- In a start-up environment exceed quota established for quarterly and annual goals and achieve KPIs
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
- Identification of new business opportunities through cold calling prospects generated by external sources of leads
- Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quota objectives
- Daily update of CRM and maintain accurately for detailed reporting
- Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as exhibitions, events Business Management
- Provide competitor activity feedback
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
3-5 year’s prior inside/outside sales experience, preferably software/hardware, with a proven track record of success
A Team Player with excellent verbal and written Communication Skills
Solid experience in opportunity qualification, call control, account development and time management
Experience in prospect to closure, and holding quota for your own territory
Highly organized with ability to work in fast-paced environment
Reliable and trustworthy with an excellent work ethic
Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Has the ability to meet and exceed both personal and company goals
Maintains a positive “can do” attitude
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows with individual initiative (self-starter)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job
