Remote Full Stack Developer/Solutions Architect

Digital Wealth Management Technology is a high-impact and agile team building innovative, revenue-generating WealthTech/Fintech products and deploying them to clients and partners.

We are working on an exciting range of digital offerings including Robos, Digital Advice, Workplace and Retirement solutions, Advisor Platforms and more.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate professional with a strong technical background and multi-disciplinary cloud technology experience to join our team as an Architect.

The Architect will join the Digital Wealth team to guide the solution and delivery of architecture across various products and business solutions to ensure consistency and alignment with business strategies and Franklin Templeton enterprise-wide architecture.

Working closely with the Technology Product Owner and the Strategic Architect, you will partner with business stakeholders, external vendors and other teams across Franklin Templeton to drive the architecture of Wealth Management solutions.

This individual will participate in or drive code review sessions and will be willing to be hands-on coding when required.

The architect will develop application roadmaps and will work with the Digital Wealth Management team members to deliver key strategic and transformative programs for the Wealth Management domain.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading technical architecture discussions with internal business and technology stakeholders, as well as external vendors to ensure the product is compliant and secure.

Vendor Assessment (product or business) experience

AWS solutions architect certification
3+ years of experience with Public and Private cloud infrastructure and solutions, preferably on AWS AWS most important but would consider Azure

Strong knowledge of APIs, micro-services, containerization (Docker), real-time/batch integration mechanisms/protocols

Good understanding of Relational and NoSQL databases with the ability to write queries and debug data

5+ year of development experience using modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, Javascript, Angular)

Ensures best practices are utilized in delivering Reporting/Analytics, Data Management and Integration Solutions

Good understanding of Agile methodologies

Experience with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines including CDK, CloudFormation, Codepipeline, and others

Understand asset management and investment management - banking would be considered if they are really strong technically

Solid experience identifying, evaluating and recommending software products and packaged solutions, with deep understanding of technical and qualitative criteria

Experience creating application architectures from high level visuals to detail integration specs with special focus on integrations and how to bring multiple software components and 3rd party products together to define a holistic solution
