Job Details: Machine Operator PR03 - 1st Shift - Full Time - Cincinnati, OH 45246 We are offering a $1000 Bonus Retention for all new hires that complete the 90 day probationary period. The starting pay for this position is $18.70/hr. with a $1.00 shift increase for second shift and potential for overtime. Applicants who have previously worked for Tyson must wait a minimum of 180 for rehire and must not have no more than 3 rehires. Summary: To set up and operate machinery efficiently, safely, and while keeping work area clean. Follow all company policy and procedures. To be knowledgeable in the areas of GMP and safety, as it pertains to the production process. Responsibilities: Responsible for the set up and operation of cooking equipment. Tasks include, but are not limited to; assemble and dismantle all equipment, monitor and ensure product quality making adjustments when necessary to maintain product specifications, and perform the necessary wash down procedures when needed. Must be able to inspect the equipment prior to set up for cleanliness and possible mechanical deficiencies. Must be able to troubleshoot machinery and keep supervisor and maintenance informed of any machinery which needs to be repaired. Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately to include completion of paperwork. Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and to adhere to all GMP standards and safety guidelines. Must maintain and submit proper paperwork including downtime sheets, weight sheets, raw material usage sheets, product loss forms, and updated specification sheets and HACCP documentation. Some paperwork will require basic Math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Must learn and follow all safety procedures related to the set up and operation of the equipment, including the lock-out/ tag-out procedure. Assure that batch, resource, and product change overs are segregated and marked. Must be willing and able to list up to 80lbs when required. Must be willing and able to work in environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 90F. Team Member has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsible for shift change communication. Responsible for the inspection of the equipment, parts, and/or blades to verify they are in good repair and sanitary, prior to set up. Requirements: 6 months of work history with the same employer Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
